2026 American Legion Oratorical Contest

The American Legion Oratorical Contest, hosted by Post 143 in Post Falls, Idaho, will feature four local high schoolers competing this year. Since 1938, American Legion Posts across the country have conducted oratorical contests to build leaders with top-notch public speaking skills. Local winners earn scholarships ($500, $300, and $200) and a shot at over $200,000 in national prizes ($25,000 top prize). Join us and support these students as they compete to advance.
