The American Legion stands as a steadfast advocate for the unique needs of veterans, service members, and their families, ensuring that those who have served our nation receive the care and support they deserve, Today, we are deeply committed to destigmatizing mental health challenges and expanding access to vital peer-to-peer resources. Our mission is to empower every individual to play a role in the fight to prevent veteran suicide, ensuring that no one faces these struggles alone.

Post 143 in Post Falls offers a range of programs and events to Veterans, their families and the community to support and connect individuals through various activities. These services often include

recreational sports programs, educational programs, affiliated groups

and community-building events that foster camaraderie and provide opportunities for veterans, their families and the community to engage with others. Additionally dining services are available, offering nutritious meals in a supportive environment, ensuring veterans have

access to both social and physical nourishment. These programs aim

to improve quality of life, promote mental and physical well-being,

and strengthen community ties for those who have served

and their families.

Through outreach, education, and specialized resources, the goal is to create a strong support network that empowers veterans to thrive and seek help when needed, ensuring they are never alone in their struggles. Dedicated to Suicide prevention.

Events & Programs

Designed to foster connection, support and well-being to Veterans, their families and the community. Family-friendly gatherings and volunteer opportunities encourage meaningful involvement within the veteran community. 

 

Dining & Lounge

The dining services are open to all, providing a welcoming space for veterans and the community to enjoy nutritious meals and socialize. The Lounge, however, is exclusively for veteran members, offering a space to connect with fellow veterans.
